Leon is really starting to come out of his newborn shell. He's making lots of different sounds, giggling a little bit, lifting and holding his head up when he's on his tummy and has started to show signs of trying to turn over.

Another good thing is he weighed in at 10 lbs 5 oz on Tuesday! Amazing. Hopefully this weight gain will help his metabolism steady up a bit so he can sleep a bit longer through the night and give Mom & Dad a break from those 3 a.m. feedings.

This week we went to Family Pizza Night at the Brickworks in Toronto. We also went to the movies to see "Get On Up!" which is and excellent movie about James Brown. Albeit Leon slept through the whole thing but it still goes down as his first movie.

Today we're off to Uncle Jonathan and Auntie Antoinette's for a pool party since it's going to be 30 degrees with the humidex. HOT!

 OW! I feel good! (na na na na na na na!)

WEEK 4

I'm going to guess he's around 10 lbs now judging by how heavy he is when I pick him up and how his clothes are fitting more snugly than before. 

Anyway, we took our first family road trip and all went very well. While Daddy was spinning a hilarious but successful set for close friends, Leon was protecting his ears with these awesome headphones. He didn't mind them one bit!
